Xliff Editor provides an easy way to edit your XLIFF files. You no longer need to deal with XML format or worry about file corruption. The Xliff Editor includes search support, convenient keyboard shortcuts, and even basic support for reading SDLXliff files!
XLIFF files are based on a standard XML format and are used specifically to exchange localization data. Xcode 6 introduced the ability to export / import all of your localization data, removing the need to send different file formats to your localizers for translation. XLIFF format makes translation cinch as it removes all layout and formatting and provides an easy text-to-text conversion mechanism for your translators.
Not all Xliff editors are created equal. We have created our own XML parser to read even the most complex Xliff v1.2 files, the developers say. The Xliff Editor handles segmentation, inline tags, and alternate translations effortlessly.
